At Flowers Manor Care Home we asked residents what advice they would give to the younger generation, with advice such as \u201ctake care of your health\u201d, \u201cenjoy every moment\u201d, and \u201ceat lots of ice cream\u201d being shared.<\/p>\n

Health and happiness were two common themes that appeared amongst residents. Ray, 90 and Pauline, 89, shared the advice \u201cbe happy\u201d and \u201cenjoy your life and have fun\u201d. Whereas residents Miriam, 79 and Mary shared \u201ckeep healthy\u201d and \u201ckeep fit and mix with the older generation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Max, 79, Brenda, 79 and Jock 76 all had advice around our outlook on life. Max shared that the younger generations should \u201calways look on the bright side of life, Brenda shared \u201cyour life is as good as your mindset.\u201d and Jock shared \u201clive your life to the full\u201d.<\/p>\n
If you\u2019re feeling demotivated, you\u2019re in luck as three residents had motivational advice. With Joyce, 93 advising the younger generation to \u201cbelt up and get on with it\u201d and George, 92 and Pat, 91 saying \u201cjust keep going my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
A mix of advice ranging from dietary to friendships came from other residents. Di, 74 advised the younger generation to \u201ceat lots of ice cream\u201d, Eileen 96 shared the lovely advice of \u201cbe kind to each other\u201d and Vera, 93, shared \u201cmake life more simple.\u201d<\/p>\n
