In an exciting new initiative, Nodens Manor Care Home launched its first residents and management group coffee morning, creating a delightful blend of camaraderie and conversation. Yesterday, General Manager Bart, Care Manager Naomi, and Director of Maintenance Linda, alongside Lifestyle Coordinator Hazel, gathered with residents from the Sceptre Suite to kick off the event.<\/p>\n
The concept was born from last month’s resident meeting, where residents expressed their desire for more informal interactions with the management team. “We really want to hear from you and share a few laughs,” Bart said, setting the perfect tone for the morning.<\/p>\n
Scheduled to occur twice a month in different suites throughout 2025, these coffee mornings are intended to strengthen relationships and improve accessibility between Nodens Manor management team and residents. Residents will have the opportunity to voice their concerns and share their experiences, creating an engaging and constructive atmosphere.<\/p>\n
Pam, a lively resident, brought her cheerful spirit to the event, recounting a humorous moment from the previous day. \u201cMy friend said I look 10 years younger since moving here!\u201d she chuckled, much to the delight of everyone present. As laughter echoed in the room, it became clear that these meetings wouldn’t just be about management; they would be about community.<\/p>\n
Regular coffee mornings offer a unique chance for residents to connect with managers, bridging the gap between leadership and everyday living. As the year unfolds, these gatherings are set to brew lasting friendships, improve communication, and enrich the vibrant culture at Nodens Manor Care Home. Residents are already looking forward to the next meet-up, eager for more smiles, stories, and of course\u2014a good cup of coffee!<\/p>\n
