{"id":1659,"date":"2024-04-03T11:11:36","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T11:11:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elmfieldcare.co.uk\/?p=1659"},"modified":"2024-04-03T16:39:40","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T16:39:40","slug":"osjct-expands-with-acquisition-of-elmfield-care","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elmfieldcare.co.uk\/news\/osjct-expands-with-acquisition-of-elmfield-care\/","title":{"rendered":"The Orders of St John Care Trust expands with Acquisition of Elmfield Care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\">We are pleased to announce that The Orders of St Johns will be expanding following the acquisition of Elmfield Care.<\/p>\n<p>We are the latest addition to join OSJCT\u2019s growing family and offer Residential, Dementia and Respite care for up to almost 200 residents across our three purpose-built luxury Care Homes: <a href=\"https:\/\/elmfieldcare.co.uk\/old-sarum-manor\/\">Old Sarum Manor<\/a> in Salisbury, Wiltshire; <a href=\"https:\/\/elmfieldcare.co.uk\/flowers-manor\/\">Flowers Manor<\/a> in Chippenham, Wiltshire; and <a href=\"https:\/\/elmfieldcare.co.uk\/nodens-manor\/\">Nodens Manor<\/a> in Lydney, Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Hayes OBE, CEO of OSJCT said: \u201cWe are delighted to be extending our offering to include this group of sustainably built, superbly operated, private pay homes.\u00a0 Elmfield Care exemplifies the highest standards of care and values, which we share at OSJCT. Existing residents can be safe in the knowledge that they will continue to be supported by an organisation with an excellent track record.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis acquisition opens doors to a wealth of opportunities for the wider organisation.\u00a0 It grants us access to innovative management practices and advances in building design and will provide invaluable insights into other examples of best practice.\u00a0 As a not-for-profit care provider, it strengthens our financial foundation, empowering our charity to better serve those for whom we care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are looking forward to sharing learnings with Elmfield Care and will endeavour to apply these to the wider Trust for the benefit of all those living and working with us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Chris Babington, former CEO at Elmfield Care, commented: \u201cWe are proud of the achievements of Elmfield Care and the compassionate care our dedicated teams have shown to our residents. \u00a0 I am delighted that the combination of our LNT purpose-built, energy efficient homes and management systems with the strong values and ethos of OSJCT will ensure fantastic outcomes for our residents and team members alike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Richard Lunn, Managing Director \u2013 Care at Christie &amp; Co, who facilitated the sale, commented: \u201cThis is the second major acquisition OSJCT has concluded in recent months as it grows and develops its care footprint across the UK.
