Resident well-being is our number one priority and we are currently taking a number of extra steps to make our residents feel safe and happy. Our residents and staff are vaccinated and we continue to take a whole host of safety measures such as regular deep cleaning, whole home testing, safe visiting and wearing PPE.
In line with the latest Government guidance, every resident can nominate up to 5 named visitors who will be able to enter our home for regular visits.
Our state-of-the-art care homes have the latest design features that make them well-placed to stay Covid-free. These include:

Visiting our Care Homes
Old Sarum Manor believes keeping you in touch with your loved ones is so important and we encourage visiting, either in our beautiful COVID-safe Garden Room or fully into our homes for each of our residents’ five nominated visitors.
Current guidelines have placed restrictions on care home visiting, however recent changes in guidelines have seen these restrictions ease. As well as in-person visits we also encourage our residents to do video calls with their loved ones using our iPads.
Despite being vaccinated, we continue to take extra precautions to keep our residents and staff safe and of course we continue to follow all UK Government and Public Health England guidance.
Frequent testing of both our residents and team members (any residents moving into our home are tested and isolated).
Except for the 5 nominated visitors per resident, visits take place in our Garden Room and all visits are by appointment only.
Appropriate PPE is worn by all staff members in the building.
Our staff only work in our care home, and on carefully planned rota’s, reducing the risk of any cross-contamination.
COVID-19 training is completed by all team members and updated on a regular basis.
Stringent cleaning schedules with extra cleaning procedures and specially designed equipment due to the pandemic.
