This year we have been lucky enough to have been awarded as one of the Top 20 Care Homes in the Southwest region! We are delighted to have been recognised by our residents, relatives, and professionals on the carehome.co.uk platform for being one of the Top 20 Care Homes. As well as achieving this, Elmfield Care have received The Top 20 Small Care Home Group Award in the UK. our Elmfield Care Team are extremely proud to have gotten these two awards!

“It wasn’t easy moving my mother, who has dementia and restricted mobility, during Covid restrictions. She moved from outside of UK and had been in her previous care home for almost 5 years. The staff at Old Sarum Manor could not have been more helpful or welcoming. After several travel cancellations – when it happened at short notice, Mum’s room was ready and matters such as getting her registered with a GP/NHS/naming clothes etc. were dealt with swiftly – special thanks to the staff. Initially I visited daily, but I need not have worried about Mum settling in! Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. The activities planner changes weekly and residents can participate as much or as little as they want – mum’s favourite activity is watching others do them! When I collected Mum from her previous care home, she looked disheveled, distressed and uncared for. She looks so much better now! clean, cared for, hair and nails done and she’s very happy. Thank you Old Sarum Manor!”
“My husband was in for a period of 2-weeks for respite. I can’t recommend Old Sarum Manor enough. It had a very caring and considerate staff; they all took time to help and encourage my husband, which was not an easy task at times – I know. It was a calm and reassuring atmosphere. Even one of the owners of the residential home, who was very present on the floor and not just in his office, showed remarkable care and interest in all the residents. The facilities were outstanding with three course lunch and dinner, or something else if needed. Also, coffee, tea, sandwiches and cakes are on-demand, even for me as a visitor. I even had supper with my husband and a glass of wine on one occasion included in the price. The room was very comfortable with a wide bed, TV and plenty of space. If and when my husband needs another visit like this or maybe longer necessary, I will not look any further than Old Sarum Manor.”
