Diggy Dave’s Show Brings Residents Together for an Afternoon of Singing and Fun
This afternoon, Old Sarum Manor Care Home was alive with music and laughter as resident favourite Diggy Dave returned for another lively performance. Arriving at 2 PM, Dave set up in the ground floor dining room, attracting attendees from every floor of the home.
His powerful voice and charming personality captivated the residents, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere. The highlight of the event came when resident Shirley joined Dave on stage with the microphone, singing her heart out to the joy of everyone present.
Not to be outdone, Phillipa also took her turn at the mic, fueling the energy in the room. In a moment of spontaneity, one resident joined in to belt out a rock song alongside Dave, leading to an impromptu dance display that had everyone in stitches.
As the performance continued, a delighted Dereck appeared, accompanied by visiting family and friends. They quickly became part of the spirited crowd, enthusiastically swaying to the rhythm and belting out their favorite tunes.
The sunny afternoon at Old Sarum Manor was a heartwarming reminder of community spirit, as music wove connections between residents and visitors alike. With laughter echoing through the halls, it was a beautiful testament to the joy that comes from togetherness and shared experiences.
