Residents and Families Come Together for Faith and Fellowship
Old Sarum Manor Care Home warmly welcomed residents, their families, and friends to its monthly church service, held in the cinema room. The service was led by Reverend Jean De Garis, accompanied by Jo from St Francis Church in Salisbury. The event began at 2pm and saw residents from all floors gathering together for a time of reflection and community.
The service was filled with lovely hymns, which residents sang enthusiastically. Shirley R, Shirley, and Jean provided beautiful singing, adding a special touch to the occasion. Reverend Jean shared some inspiring stories of faith, which resonated with everyone present.
Jim, one of the residents, enjoyed the service immensely. He even shared a few of his own stories, much to the delight of those listening. Family members also attended, making the event even more special for residents and staff alike.
The monthly service provides a meaningful opportunity for residents to come together, enjoy music, share stories, and strengthen their sense of community. The care home continues to organise these gatherings to bring comfort and joy to all those involved, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Old Sarum Manor.
