Old Sarum Manors Charity of the Year – The Care Workers Charity!
We are so please to announce we will be supporting the Care Workers Charity this year in all our fundraising events!
Here at Old Sarum Manor we love to fundraise and help local charities connected to the Care Industry. We previously partnered with the Alzheimer’s Society, raising funds for them through Coffee Mornings and Summer events and we are very much looking forward to seeing what this year brings as we collaborate with The Care Workers Charity!
The Care Workers Charity – The only charity in the UK to support Care Workers.
There are nearly 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of Britain’s largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. For Britain’s care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits. In recognition of this dedicated and selfless workforce, The Care Workers Charity was founded in 2009 with the promise to provide support to those who find themselves facing the burden of economic hardship. As a country, we depend on our care workers to be there for us on our rainy day. The Care Workers Charity is there for them on theirs.
How we will fundraise.
Over the next year we will be supporting The Care Workers charity in as many events as possible, from Coffee Mornings, Family Fun Days, Summer Fates and much more. We will have donation boxes at all our up and coming events as well as in our reception area.
