Residents Dance The Night Away With Their Favourite Singer
Residents took to the dance floor this week to enjoy some 60’s classics
Our Lifestyle Team organised a fantastic evening last week for our residents to enjoy. They booked Marcus Davis, a local favourite, to perform for everyone.
Marcus performs a lot of music that is geared towards our residents’ musical preferences such as Elvis Presley classic Cant Help Falling in Love and Doris Days Que Sera Sera. Since Marcus has been entertaining at our homes for a while, we are confident that the residents will have a wonderful evening whenever he visits.
For many of our residents, listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s and even as far back as the late 1930s with wartime songs like the well-known We’ll Meet Again and White Cliff of Dover always brings back many pleasant memories. Music is a fantastic source of happiness for elders, especially those living dementia, reminiscing about your favourite tunes and dances
