Old Sarum Manor Care Home Hosts Heartwarming Valentine’s Day Tea Party
Celebrating Love and Friendship with Residents, Families, and Staff
This afternoon, Old Sarum Manor Care Home organised a charming Valentine’s Day tea party to celebrate love and friendship among residents, their families, and staff. The event was beautifully themed with pink and red decorations, transforming the tearoom into a festive space. All morning, the team decorated with heart-shaped balloons, table confetti, red tablecloths, and various heart adornments, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The kitchen team prepared four different flavours of cakes, each decorated with care and creativity. As the residents finished their entertainment performance, they were invited into the tearoom to enjoy the celebration. The space quickly filled with chatter and laughter as residents, relatives, and friends gathered to share in the special occasion.
Guests enjoyed hot drinks alongside a variety of delicious cakes, each beautifully presented. As a sweet touch, everyone received a chocolate heart to take home, symbolising love and friendship. The atmosphere was filled with smiles, warmth, and lively conversations, making it a truly memorable day.
The event was a wonderful reminder of the importance of community, connection, and celebrating the bonds that bring us together. Seeing the tearoom buzzing with happiness was a heartwarming sight for all involved. The team at Old Sarum Manor looks forward to organising more events that foster joy and companionship among their residents. Today’s celebration was a perfect way to honour love in all its forms and to create lasting memories for everyone involved.
