Old Sarum Manor is proud to be based on Rhodes-Moorhouse Way, a street named after William Barnard Rhodes-Moorhouse, a courageous WW1 pilot.
After succeeding on a mission against all odds, he died of his injuries but was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery. His son followed in his footsteps and was an amazingly brave RAF pilot who died in WW2.
We are proud to remember all the brave servicemen who gave their lives. In our own various experiences, we have had the pleasure of looking after a number of servicemen and women, many with stories that make you proud, laugh and cry all at the same time. We remember and are proud to do so.
