Staff and residents are delighted to be throwing open the doors of Old Sarum to welcome potential new residents to see what life is like at Old Sarum Manor in Salisbury – and it’s going to be a party!
Join us on Saturday 12 August from 11am to 4pm for a day of fun and laughter that you’ll love – everyone welcome!
Old Sarum Manor is a wonderful place to spend time with others. Our bright and airy communal spaces will have activities on offer, like art or baking club. Or, you can find yourself relaxing in your room which can lead straight out to our landscaped gardens, where you can sit under our gazebo enjoy a drink in the sunshine or even drift off to sleep in the summer warmth.
There’s always someone to talk to and our community encourage each other to try new things. Our gardening club share hints and tips of what made their garden grow while our baking club talk tactics about recipes they have loved.
Summer is a very special time at Old Sarum Manor as our activities team make sure that we get out and about, taking day trips and excursions to places of great interest. There’s usually a stop for a scone or a scoop of ice cream, depending on the temperature!
Our care team spend time with your loved one to understand their precise care needs, before putting a plan in place. As well as care, our team spends time chatting with everyone to make sure that our residents are happy and content. We’ll help them to find their way in their new community, whether they’re with us for a few weeks or a couple of months. We find that our residents settle in quickly, finding their feet and making new friends.
Every resident can count on peace and quiet in their own bedroom, with its en-suite bathroom and some even have direct garden access. Our residents can spend time in their room or join in as many activities as they like the look of, before coming together to dine.
