  • Pay rate
    Per Hour: £11.20 - £11.50

    Roles available for days, full time and part time and nights full time.

    Full Time hours: 42 hours per week, based on an 8pm – 8am, or 8am - 8pm 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off over a 6-week rota.

    Part Time hours: 26.5 hours per week, in 7.5 hour shifts, based on either 7am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 10.30pm, 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off over a 6-week rota.

    Elmfield Care is a small but vibrant group looking after our Aged and Dementia community.     Roles and responsibilities:

    You will be working under the direction of the Senior Carers and your role will include;

    · Assisting our residents with mobility, personal care, general hopitality etc

    · Helping with activities and trips out

    · Assisting with meal times

    · Be available should a resident just want a chat or cup of tea

    · Completing Care notes and assisting with care plan updates for your residents

    · Being a key worker to your selected residents

    - Are able to cover the shift on short notice to meet the needs of residents.

    - Handle enquiries from residents, visitors, and relatives and act appropriately in emergency situations.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    1. To provide a high quality housekeeping service to ensure all areas of the home are cleaned to a high standard and that all linen and resident’s personal clothing/items are correctly laundered

    2. To ensure that all areas of the Care Home are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with the specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the residents’ and homes needs.

    3. To respect and maintain confidentiality of resident’s personal information at all times, including their right to privacy, dignity and choice.

    4. To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health & Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the Health & Social Care Act, to ensure a safe and efficient laundry service in the home. Understand and have an awareness of Infection Control.

    Job Types: Part time, 31.5 hours per week, working 8-5 on a 3 on 3 off basis
