Celebrating our Team: Professional Care Week
Professional Care Workers’ Week 2026 took place from 14–18 September 2026 across the UK.
Elmfield Care were proud to spend this week recognising the hard work and heartfelt commitment of our care assistants and service support workers in our three luxury care homes across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Our homes in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire are made special by so many incredible team members. Our teams span through Care, Housekeeping, Catering, Front of House, Lifestyle, Maintenance, Marketing, and Management. Everyone has a role to play in the lives of our residents and we could not do it without them.
This week is not only about honouring our staff, but the local professionals who support us as well; our Doctors, Health Professionals, District Nurses, 111 and 999 Crisis Teams.
To every care professional and person working in a care environment; you’re making a difference each day, thank you. Your dedication changes lives, and the impact of your work is felt far beyond the people you support.
Don’t just take it from us, the feedback from our Residents, Families and Friends says it all…
“An amazing team – without exception. Thank you to you all from the bottom of our hearts xx” – Kim W
“Thank you to all the staff for looking after your residents and our family members so well.” – Wendy A
“You help to keep our relatives active and happy. x” – Jenny P
“You are all amazing and everyone of you deserve recognition for the care, support & hard work in every area of the jobs you all do.” – Jez D
