Mike is CEO of Elmfield Care and took on the role in March 2024. Mike has previously worked a variety of roles in Healthcare in the private sector, NHS and private equity. Mike is also a Board Trustee of The Fremantle Trust and brings significant experience working with CQC and other regulators, ensuring the highest levels of care for residents at all times.
Sharlene is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of dedicated service within the Health and Social Care sector. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of regional positions, allowing her to gain valuable insights, knowledge, and expertise within the industry. Her extensive background has given her a well-rounded understanding of the challenges and opportunities in providing quality care.
Passionate about making a difference, Sharlene combines operational excellence with a deep understanding of CQC standards and person-centred care principles. She is committed to ensuring the highest standards of care and support for those she works with. “I am immensely proud to be part of the Elmfield Care team, leading our homes to achieve high-quality outcomes and creating a warm, caring environment for everyone in our community.”
Sharon has been with us since our first location opened in 2020. She began as the Lifestyle Manager at Old Sarum Manor Care Home and has since transitioned to the Marketing team, where she has been working for several years as she pursues her Level 6 Marketing Manager apprenticeship.
Sharon has a diverse background, having worked in private healthcare as well as the dance industry. Sharon spent five years as a dance teacher and over ten years performing in professional production shows and at prestigious venues across the UK, including Wembley Stadium and The Royal Albert Hall. In her spare time, she teaches commercial dance and heels classes, sharing her passion for dance beyond her professional career. Alongside her dance career, she has gained valuable experience in business administration and designing artwork and producing stage shows, skills she continues to develop and apply in her work.. “I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful team that has given me the opportunity to grow.”
Michael started his career as a Care Assistant, working with the elderly over thirty years ago. This has become a vocation, supporting people to maximize their quality of life. He then went on to work with People who had experienced brain injuries, where he progressed to Senior Care Assistant, and to Deputy Manager. Michael has also worked closely with people in the community, as well as in care homes. He was promoted to Home Manager where he worked in the private sector with vulnerable adults.
Michael has continued to develop his skills and training working in several private organisations as Manager. He has also been a Regional Manager working for a small care group, supporting people with learning disabilities within the community. Michael has come to Old Sarum Manor after working for an organisation for eight years. He is passionate about care and supporting people to maximise their full potential. Michael is committed to developing services and helping people to feel fulfilled, developing a sense of belonging and pride in their home.
Esther moved from Ireland when she was 18 years old and has been working in the care industry for the last 17 years. She started as a care assistant and progressed to General Manager. Esther has been a registered Manager since the age of 28 and has managed many care homes providing residential and dementia care. “I’m very passionate about what I do and always try my best to deliver an excellent service to all who live and work with me”
Naomi began working within the care industry in 2005 starting her career as a Care Assistant in the community and eventually moving over the the Nursing sector. Naomi also gained 7 years of experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours. Soon after Naomi worked her way up the ladder going from Team Leader to other Managerial roles and eventually making the decision to return to Dementia Care. ” I joined Nodens Manor in February this year and I chose to apply for the role in Elmfield Care as it was a new adventure and thought it would be a personal challenge to be involved in a start up project while gaining new experience”
