Teams from Nodens Manor, Flowers Manor, and Old Sarum Manor complete vital Fire Safety training to ensure resident safety.
In a dedicated effort to enhance the safety of our residents and staff, Nodens Manor, Flowers Manor, and Old Sarum Manor participated in comprehensive Fire Safety training over the past week. The training, conducted by the experts at Fire Defence UK, focused on equipping teams with essential knowledge and skills related to fire safety.
Throughout the sessions, participants gained valuable insights into the critical responsibilities of a Fire Marshal, including their vital role in managing evacuation procedures efficiently during emergencies. In addition, attendees learned best practices for fire prevention and how to ensure a swift and orderly evacuation should the need arise. The hands-on training emphasized situational awareness and quick decision-making to help safeguard everyone within the facilities.
“It was an eye-opening experience,” shared one participant. “We learned so much about our roles and how to react calmly in high-pressure situations. It’s reassuring to know we are better prepared to protect our community.”
A special thank you goes out to our trainers, Eddie and Robin, whose engaging and informative sessions made the learning process not only effective but also enjoyable. The feedback from staff has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the skill development.
At Nodens Manor, Flowers Manor, and Old Sarum Manor, fire safety remains a top priority. We are committed to fostering a secure environment for all and will continue to invest in training initiatives that promote the well-being of our residents and staff alike.
