Why Volunteer with Elmfield Care?
Volunteer with Elmfield Care: Make a Difference in Our Community
Elmfield Care operates three welcoming care homes in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, dedicated to creating supportive communities for individuals in need of residential care, dementia support, or short-term respite. Each of our homes offers exceptional amenities designed to promote comfort, independence, and enjoyment. Our team is selected with care, based on compassion and shared values—with many of our staff and residents contributing to our approach. We are now excited to extend this ethos to include volunteers, enriching our community further.
What does volunteering involve?
Volunteering at Elmfield Care in our purpose-built, luxury care homes is a truly rewarding experience. It involves engaging with residents, brightening their days, and participating in activities that support their well-being. You may also have the opportunity to assist our Front of House teams by welcoming visitors, serving refreshments, and helping create a warm, inviting atmosphere within the home.
Who can volunteer?
This opportunity is open to everyone—whether you’re seeking valuable work experience, have some free time, or wish to support someone in your local community. No prior care experience is necessary. All you need is an open mind, a caring nature, and a willingness to learn and connect with those around you.
How much time is involved?
You can choose to volunteer for just an hour a week or visit daily—whatever suits your schedule. Before you begin, we’d love to meet you to learn more about your interests and how you can best contribute to our community, ensuring a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
