Crafternoon Tea – In Aid of Lydney Town Council Project Poppies 2024.
Lydney Town Council are embarking on a project to create enduring displays that commemorate significant events, starting this year with a focus on D-Day on 6th June 2023. The goal is to develop displays that can be added to each year for Remembrance and other occasions.
Lydney Town Council have reached out to the community and local groups for support in achieving this goal, and we are incredibly happy to be one of the groups supporting this project.
The aim of ‘Project Poppies 2024’is to craft as many poppies as possible to attach to the Cross (Monument) at the end of Church Road.
In aid of this project, we are excited to be hosting a ‘Crafternoon Tea’ on Wednesday 1st May 2024 for our residents and their family and friends. Everyone will enjoy an afternoon of crafting, alongside one of the UK’s most popular afternoon treats – a Cream Tea.
