Elmfield Care, an Award-Winning Care Provider, have opened their brand new third home in Lydney, Nodens Manor.
Elmfield Cares newest home, Nodens Manor Care Home is thriving after they welcomed their first resident on Tuesday 4th April after receiving its Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration. The team at Nodens Manor have been delighted to see the home and their resident community grow over the last few months.
Our goal is to look after each and every resident in the best way possible so that they can live a happy and fulfilling life in our Purpose-Built Care Home. We take pride in our outstanding levels of care and service and our handpicked staff share the same values.
Nodens Manor provides exceptional Residential, Dementia and Respite Care for a maximum of 66 residents. The home benefits from excellent onsite amenities including a Café Bar, Cinema Room, Hair Salon, Garden Rooms, and beautiful Landscaped Courtyard Gardens. Visitors to Nodens Manor have been “very impressed with the homely feel and friendliness.”
Over the first few weeks of being open we had a variety of events to celebrate in the home, and activities for our residents to take part in. Just a few days after opening we celebrated Easter, a few weeks later a resident treated us to a musical afternoon with his piano skills, following this we have celebrated the Kings Coronation and much more.
In the last few weeks our Head Chef has put on a spectacular Greek Pop-Up Restaurant, one of our Deputies lead a Cocktail and Mocktail Class, and we’ve even had a Virtual Tour of the Natural History Museum…as you can tell, we’ve had a real fun start!
Bartosz Turewicz, General Manager at Nodens Manor Care home “feels very privileged to be able to support everyone within the new and exciting journey at Nodens Manor. Commissioning a new home, welcoming a new team and new residents has been an honor. The support and wellbeing of everyone who lives at Nodens Manor Care is my main priority.”
One of Nodens Manors long term residents commented “I feel very comfortable here. I feel very cared for by all staff members. I really appreciate all the help I get from staff. I enjoy the wide selection of food. I’m glad I’ve decided to stay because I really love it here and my bedroom, I am really satisfied.”
The entire team at Nodens Manor can’t wait to see what the next year brings. We’re excited to grow both with new residents and staff and become a part of the local community in the Forest of Dean.
