Nodens Manor Care Home Manager, Bartosz Turewicz will be Sky Diving for Greak Oaks Hospice
On behalf of Elmfield Care, Nodens Manor, our third Purpose-Built Home are raising money to benefit a local charity in The Forest of Dean, Great Oaks Hospice.
Who are Great Oaks Hospice?
Based in Coleford, every penny makes a difference for Great Oaks as they provide supportive, palliative and End of Life care programs free of charge to the local community. They have supported over a 1,000 people in the last year through hospice at home, befriending services, community support, counselling and much more.
Donations to Great Oaks Hospice, large or small, make a difference to those people, their families and their Care Assistants who really need their support. Without the local community throwing fantastic fundraising events and activities they would not be able to make the difference they do.
As a care provider, Elmfield Care understand how valuable a reliable care service is, and how important it is to support those in need. For more than 20 years Great Oaks have provided hospice services across Gloucestershire, and we are proud to support them.
Our Upcoming Fundraising Initiatives
Bartosz Turewicz, General Manager for Nodens Manor Care Home will be Skydiving for Great Oaks Hospice.
Skydiving can be one of the most exhilarating experiences one can undertake in their lifetime. Facing his fears, Bart will be jumping from an altitude of 15,000ft this summer. While the weather will determine a final date, the big jump is currently scheduled for Saturday 12th August 2023 at the Salisbury Sky Diving Centre.
We have currently raised over £700 from our Summer Party and Go Fund Me donations and donations are still open online as well as in our home.
