Residents enjoy a sunny outdoor dance and a relaxing trip to Whitemead Forest Park, creating happy memories together
Residents at Nodens Manor Care Home had a wonderful day full of fun and friendship. The morning started with a special event—a silent disco that took place outside in the garden. Because the weather was so lovely, staff decided to move the dance outside, where residents enjoyed dancing in the sunshine. Many sang along loudly to “Dancing Queen,” while others simply danced and laughed. The morning was filled with happy memories, new friendships, and the joy of music. It was a truly magical day for everyone involved.
Later in the day, some residents took a trip to Whitemead Forest Park. They enjoyed the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and peaceful surroundings. Some residents treated themselves to a cheeky glass of wine or G&T, while others savored delicious ice cream. Many shared stories and reminisced about past experiences in the sunshine.
Doreen, one resident, said, “It was wonderful, just so lovely. I can’t wait to tell my family all about it.” Pam added, “It’s been some time since I had a G&T. I really enjoyed myself.” J, another visitor, said, “Never been there before. What a lovely place to go. Thank you so much—I really enjoyed my afternoon.”
The day was filled with laughter, music, and relaxation, making it a memorable day for everyone at Nodens Manor. Care home staff are happy to see residents enjoying themselves and creating new joyful moments together.
