“My Mum-in -Law has now been living at Nodens Manor in Lydney for over 6 months. This was a huge decision for herself and the family initially but she felt 24 hour care and support was now a necessity. We have been delighted at how well she has settled into life at Nodens ,the support and care from the staff has been excellent and the lovely homecooked food a great hit! As a family we feel relaxed and welcomed as visitors, we all gathered recently to celebrate her 90th birthday together in the gardens and Nodens made every effort to give us a celebration to remember. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone needing a care home for a loved one, we are so glad to have chosen Nodens.”

“I visited Nodens Manor Care Home Sunday 6th September to visit my best friends mum. I have to say, I was completely blown away. My friend had told me how wonderful Nodens is, but never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined just how wonderful it truly is. Every member of staff I met was amazing – full of warm smiles, compassion and genuine kindness. Everyone was so welcoming, and it was immediately clear how much the residents are valued and cared for. The facilities are incredible, and despite the residents having such differing needs, they all appeared happy, peaceful and very well cared for. Some were enjoying games and activities, others were resting or sleeping, while some were simply walking around. I had a few lovely chats with residents who wanted to talk, one lovely lady was having her nails done! It really is a beautiful home, and it’s evident that it’s run by people who genuinely care. You take the word “care” far beyond simply being a job. You are all incredible.”
