Residents enjoy festive gift delivery from Santa and his elf, bringing joy and smiles throughout the home
Old Sarum Manor Care Home celebrated the Christmas season with a special visit from Santa and his elf, bringing joy to all residents. The festive event saw Santa, played by Matt from the laundry team, and Sarah, our head housekeeper dressed as Santa’s elf, delivering gifts to every resident across the home.
Santa and his elf moved from floor to floor, bedroom to bedroom, spreading holiday cheer with presents and festive music. All residents were involved in the celebrations, making the day a memorable occasion. The team carefully placed presents on a trolley, allowing Santa and the elf to visit each room and ensure everyone received a gift.
One resident, Lavina, was delighted with her painting by numbers, which she spent the entire day working on. Josie was particularly thrilled to see Santa and his elf and was laughing and smiling as she followed them down the corridor. It was a heartwarming sight that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The staff at Old Sarum Manor worked hard to make the day special, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The visit was a wonderful reminder of the importance of celebrating together and spreading happiness during the holiday season. Residents, staff, and visitors alike left with happy memories of a joyful Christmas celebration.
