Flowers Manor is looking for Night Senior Care Assistants to join our Team.
Flowers Manor, in the centre of Chippenham, is a luxury purpose built home with all the facilities and equipment you would expect and more in a new home.
We have a fantastic home, and a great Team which we are looking to grow with caring, professional people who enjoy their role and bring smiles and laughter into the home.
Flowers Manor is one of three homes owned by Elmfield Care, which is a young, vibrant company looking after our Aged Residential and Dementia Care community.
· We take pride in our ethos, the quality of the care and facilities that we have, operating out of brand new purpose built luxury care homes within the South West.

· The homes are fabulous and have lots of themed rooms from a Sky Bar, Cinema, Tea room, Garden room and Hairdressers, as well as lovely gardens.

You will be working under the direction of the Night Senior Care Team Leader and your role will include;
· Supporting the Night Senior Care Team Leader in their roles in keeping our residents cared for, safe and happy
· Medication
· Liaison with GP’s, District Nurses, Response Team and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
· Be available should a resident just want at chat during the night
· Compiling care notes and care plan updates for your residents
· Staff appraisals and aspects of administration
We have lots of equipment, a home built for care and easy to use care systems to make your job easier and less frustrating, so you can spend quality time with your residents, in a fantastic environment.

· Hours: 42 hours per week, based on a 8pm – 8am, 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off over a 6-week rota.

You should have:
· at least one year’s experience
· an NVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification or have an NVQ 2 and be willing to complete a Level 3 qualification.

· Driving licence or access to public transport beneficial

· General assistance in our residents’ day to day lives, such as mealtimes, activities or just a chat, or checking on them at night
· Personal care and mobility
· General hospitality – from making a cup of tea and toast at night, a nightcap or looking after family visits
· Completing Care notes and assisting with care plan updates for your residents
· Being a key worker to your selected residents
· As a purpose built home, we have easy to use care systems and equipment to make your role easier on a daily basis.
Hours are:
· 42 hours per week, in shifts from 8pm to 8am, 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off over a rolling 6-week rota.

We are looking for a Bank Sous Chef to join our team. As a Bank Sous Chef you will
Have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh to a high standard and be willing to learn
Be very organised
Have the highest level of kitchen skills
Must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen team in the Head Chefs absence and alongside the Head Chef.
Have a great understanding of the principles of safe food handling
Ensure all food preparation undertaken in the kitchen is to the highest standards of hygiene.
As the Bank Sous Chef you must be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with our residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
