Flowers Manor celebrated the end of 2023 and the beginning of the new year with a Sweet Silent Disco experience.
Our Lifestyle Team are always thinking of ways to raise the bar when it comes to new experiences for our residents, so when they requested a party to welcome in the new year, a silent disco was something we hadn’t tried before. after some research our team found Sweet Silent Disco, Silent Discos are a unique and immersive experience, where all participants wear a wireless headset and listen to a custom playlist of music. They are great as a twist on a yoga class, a fun party idea, team building session or for an activity to run with elderly people or people living with a disability.
To prepare for the evening, residents gathered in their Art Club to create a photo frame that they could use to shoot numerous photos to remember the wonderful event.
For the evening drinks and treats were prepared so all that was left to do was gather all the residents and party! we had lots of wonderful feedback from residents and the team, it was a fantastic way to end the year. One residents said “I didnt know what to expect but i was more fun than i thought!” and another said “It was nice to do something different”.
