Celebrating Success: Flowers Manor Achieves GOOD Rating from CQC!
Staff members at Flowers Manor gathered to celebrate a significant achievement as they received their GOOD CQC banner! This momentous occasion was marked with joy and pride, recognising the dedication of the hardworking team who have fostered a caring environment for their residents.
On June 7, 2024, the CQC published its report rating Flowers Manor as GOOD. General Manager Esther Cambridge expressed her immense pride in the achievement, stating, “As the General Manager of Flowers Manor, I’m extremely proud of everything the team and I have achieved since opening the home in September 2021. The team and I are very excited to be able to share with you that Flowers Manor has been rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission. Flowers Manor is a fantastic home that has been created by such an amazing hard working and dedicated team. Our residents are our focus and we are so proud to have achieved this for them all.”
The report highlighted several strengths of Flowers Manor, a residential care home accommodating up to 66 residents, including those living with dementia. Residents expressed feeling valued and respected, with comments such as, “The staff really listen to me.” The home was commended for its person-centered care approach, ensuring that individual preferences and needs are met. The CQC also praised the compassionate approach of the staff, noting their dedication to enhancing residents’ quality of life through various engaging activities and strong social connections within the community. This achievement is a true testament to the vibrant atmosphere at Flowers Manor, where residents feel empowered and supported in their daily lives.
