Flowers Manor were delighted to host a Car Meet recently, welcoming Network Wheels Drivers Club.
We had a number of classic cars arrive from different eras to Flowers Manor, from the latest electric Porsche in Le Mans colours to an original Ford Pilot in pristine order. Network Wheels Drivers Club is local community of individuals who enjoy the excitement of driving. They hold many car meets across the UK as well as members only road trips. We were lucky enough to have the club visit our home for a Flowers Manor Car Meet.
On the lovely Sunday morning Network Wheels members brought many cars to our home for our residents to get the full experience. Many of the cars included a Lamborghini Hourican, Porsche’s and BMW M4’s, one of which had been at Spa in Belgium a couple of days before, Jaguar F-Type, Ford Focus RS and Mercedes AMG. One of the Porsche’s was an electric racing Taycan in Gulf livery.
The morning was wonderful for our residents, families and care team, and by the end, the sun had even decided to show itself. We were so grateful to have this amazing group visit our home. One resident even mentioned that they used to attend car shows frequently and thought it was wonderful that Flowers Manor organised this for them. and another was pleased to say our Lifestyle Team provide such wonderful activities for them.
