Flowers Manor Residents Receive A Visit From Some Furry Friends
With Easter fast approaching, Flowers Manor residents had a special visit from some gorgeous little bunnies!
Here at Flowers Manor we love bringing in various animals in to the home to visit our residents. Pet therapy is proven to be extremely beneficial to the elderly with benefits such as reduced stress, anxiety and feeling less isolated. Like dogs, rabbits are also used for pet therapy and have been successfully used to calm people living with Alzheimer’s disease.
The rabbits provided so much delight to our residents, and everyone was overjoyed with the pleasant surprise.
Thank you to our wonderful Senior Care Assistants Kerry, who helped to organise the special visit for our residents.
