Residents Celebrate the Olympics with Games, Fun, and Friendship!
At Flowers Manor Care Home, the Olympic spirit is in full swing! As the Olympic Games light up the world, the residents threw a delightful open party in the cozy tea room. The air was filled with laughter as everyone sipped colorful drinks and munched on fresh fruit inspired by the Olympic rings. Some residents even brought in the Olympic torch, igniting the festive atmosphere!
Over the next few weeks, the fun continued. Everyone got active with javelin and shot put games in the garden, while inside, residents enjoyed an Olympic-themed wordsearch and trivia quiz. They also showcased their artistic flair with colouring activities. In the Sunflowers Suite lounge, curling and axe throwing brought out everyone’s competitive side, while the Primrose Suite saw some spirited bean bag tossing.
As the Olympic celebration came to an end, residents kicked back with refreshing drinks and delicious ice creams. They shared their favourite moments from the games, reliving the excitement and joy they experienced.
