Residents enjoyed a Sip and Social in our Sky Bar!
On Saturday our residents here at Flowers Manor spent the afternoon in the Sky Bar socialising with friends. A lot of residents have previously mentioned they used to catch up with friends on a Saturday afternoon so our Lifestyle Team thought it’d be a great activity to introduce in the home. Our Lifestyle Team enjoys including as many activities as residents used to enjoy before moving into our home to show that you don’t have to stop doing things you enjoy just because you’re in a care home.
We are very fortunate to have many communal spaces in our purpose-built home. We take pleasure in the lovely communal spaces around the home, which include expansive landscaped gardens that residents may enjoy in the warmer months and a vibrant Tea Room that offers Cookery Clubs and Coffee Mornings.
Our Sky Bar is situated on the our top floor, Primrose Suite. The Sky Bar has a beautiful perspective of Chippenham town, therefore residents come here at all hours of the day, whether they want to enjoy the morning view with a coffee or watch the evening sunset with a cocktail.
Our residents had a wonderful afternoon in the Sky Bar getting to enjoy a drink with friends whilst also getting to meet new ones they may not have spoken with before.
