Tiny Hands, Big Hearts: St. Mary’s EYFS Spreads Cheer at Flowers Manor
Youngsters Deliver Mother’s Day Joy and Sweet Treats
Flowers Manor care home recently received a delightful visit from the youngest members of St. Mary’s EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). The children, brimming with enthusiasm, arrived bearing thoughtful gifts to celebrate Mother’s Day with the residents.
Each child had carefully crafted a special Mother’s Day card, a testament to their creativity and effort. These handmade tokens were presented to the residents, bringing smiles and warmth to their faces. The children also brought vibrant flowers and delicious biscuits, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The interaction between the young children and our residents was a beautiful sight. These intergenerational visits are incredibly valuable, fostering connections and providing mutual benefits. For the children, it offers a chance to learn empathy and respect for their elders, while for the residents, the energy and innocence of the children bring joy and a sense of connection to the wider community. A truly memorable and heartwarming afternoon was had by all involved.
