Esther moved from Ireland when she was 18 years old and has been working in the care industry for the last 17 years. She started as a care assistant and progressed to General Manager. Esther has been a registered Manager since the age of 28 and has managed many care homes providing residential and dementia care. “I’m very passionate about what I do and always try my best to deliver an excellent service to all who live and work with me”

Leah Joined Elmfield Care September 2021 working at Old Sarum Manor as Deputy Manager and soon after moving over to Flowers Manor as Assistant General Manager. Leah has worked in the care industry for over 20 years and has gained a wealth of experience and qualifications in the field. As well as working in residential care homes she has also worked in various NHS hospitals and other nursing facilities. “I knew joining Elmfield was a good decision as the culture and principles of the company are great and focus entirely on the holistic care needs of the residents. The attention to detail of providing the right care and support is exceptional”

Charlotte has joined our Front of the House team at Flowers Manor after many years of working in the travel industry. She is a passionate customer focused staff member always wanting to help wherever she can.
Charlotte is looking forward to joining the Flowers Manor team and looking to building relationships with staff, residents and families.

Since Rachel began her career 22 years ago, Rachel has worked as a committed care provider in a range of roles. These jobs include those of Care Assistant, Senior Carer, Autism Support Worker and Teaching Assistant for a number of years. Rachel joined the Flowers Manor team in August 2021 when the home opened its doors, Since the opening Rachel started out as a Lifestyle Assistant before being promoted to Lifestyle Manager. In order for the residents to enjoy their stay at Flowers Manor, Rachel enjoys getting to know each resident personally and developing an engaging activities schedule for them.

Marnie joined Flowers Manor in October 2021 and is head off housekeeping. Before joining Flowers Manor, Marnie was a Health care assistant for 4 years. “I have a brilliant group of staff who keep the home to the highest standard and enjoy keeping this beautiful home clean and tidy”

John spent several years as a Navigating Officer in the Merchant Navy before spending 17 years in the retail industry in a managerial role. John decided to have a complete career change and became a Maintenance Manager in the care industry, which he has been for the last three years. “I enjoy the variety of work where every day is different and interesting”

George has worked in the Catering industry for many years starting at the age of 14 as a Kitchen Porter. “My grandmother always said I had good hands for pastry and from there it turned into a career” George attended Salisbury College of Technology in the 80’s and continued in the highlands of Scotland for 17 year and the spent 2 years in Mallorca, Spain.

Since she was sixteen years old, Gemma has worked in the care industry. She began her job as a care assistant and eventually advanced to the position of deputy manager. with 26 years of experience Gemma says the best part of her career has been working with residents living with Dementia. “I’m so lucky I have a fab team to work with that all share the same goals as me”

Erica began working in the care industry when she was just 17 working as a Kitchen Assistant for a Residential Care Home. She soon became fond of the residents she met in the home and wanted to work her way to becoming a Care Assistant. Over the years Erica has progressed through the different care roles and is now working as a Deputy Manager here at Flowers Manor Care Home. Erica has many goals one of them being to complete her NVQ’s and expand her knowledge in providing the best Person Centred Care. “I was drawn to Elmfield Care following my initial interview because of the welcoming atmosphere I experienced there. It was evident that the home was designed with the residents needs and fulfilment in mind”
