“This care home is outstanding in every dimension of its policies, its operation and in the care it gives its residents. It is an example that others can and should learn from. Thus the warmth and helpfulness of the reception area set the tone in this new purpose-built facility with 5* quality in the build, in its tranquillity and in the design of the en suite bedrooms. The food is of the highest quality with a full imaginative programme of activities especially for those on the memory floor – note the terminology, it is NOT called the dementia floor. There the residents are treated with respect from the competent, passionate and compassionate staff with every individual need being addressed. The relationship with the carers of the residents is exceptional with attention given to their needs as well as to their loved ones. The word ‘love’ is expressed in all the detail of the day to day work in the home and I cannot commend it highly enough for all it does for everyone.”
