Chippenham Local Brings Educational Presentation to Flowers Manor
Retired citizen from Chippenham came to Flowers Manor to give a presentation on his long career as an Architect.
Retired Architect Jack, recently came to Flowers Manor Care Home to give a presentation to our resident on his life long career as an architect. Before retirement, Jack was been involved in many building designs within Chippenham over multiple decades.
The Cinema Room was full of residents and their families ready to learn about Jacks Architectural career. Some residents who grew up in Chippenham enjoyed a walk down memory lane as Jack spoke about many of the different builds that he had worked on and other residents not local to the area got to experience how Chippenham was built. To conclude his presentation Jack showed us what used to be here before Flowers Manor Care Home and it was in fact the old Chippenham Police Station. It was fascinating to see what our land looked like before we were here!
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed learning about Chippenham’s architecture and gaining an insight into Jack’s life. We look forward to having more Chippenham locals join us for more presentations.
