Elmfield Care Ltd named in UK Top 20 Small Care Home Groups
Elmfield Care Ltd is thrilled to have recently been named as one of the Top 20 Small Care Home Groups in the UK. With three homes across three UK towns – Salisbury and Chippenham in Wiltshire and Lydney in Gloucestershire, Elmfield Care Home Group is dedicated to providing the highest standards of residential, dementia and respite care. Elmfield Care Ltd is also thrilled to have their Salisbury care home, Old Sarum Manor, named in the Top 20 Care Homes South West.
The Top 20 is devised by Carehome.co.uk, the digital resource that supports people in the search for a home either for themselves or for their loved ones. The awards are hotly contested, but the criteria and the bar are both set high.
carehome.co.uk’s Top 20 Care Home Group Awards 2023 are based on The Group Review Score, when the eligibility window closed on the 15th February 2023. Group Review Scores are generated by taking the average of all Review Scores from Members with a Review Score. In order for the group to secure a Review Score, over 80% of the care home members in the group must have a Review Score so that a Group Review Score can be achieved. This means that the Group has to have reviews across their individual care homes before they can be appraised as a group. Elmfield Care was delighted to perform well in the Small Care Home Categories, where groups with between 2 and 9 care homes are placed. Two further categories are Large Care Home Groups with 20+ Group Members and Mid-Size Care Home Groups with 10-19 Group Members.
Once a care home group has secured their place within the Top 20, there is no further ranking with each of the homes enjoying their Top 20 status.
